Vol. 157 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tralee River Flooding.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that the flooding of the river Lee between Mulgrave Bridge, Tralee, and Blennerville Bridge is a danger to the health of the people of Tralee town and district, and if he will arrange for an investigation with a view to having the river banks repaired so as to prevent further flooding.

No proposals in relation to this flooding have been received from either the Kerry County Council or the Tralee Urban District Council and it is not clear that they have any responsibilities in the matter.
