Vol. 161 No. 9

Ceisteanna-Questions. Oral Answers. - River Lennon (Donegal) Drainage.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he has considered the urgent need for putting into operation a drainage scheme for the River Lennon, County Donegal, and, if so, with what result.

Examination of the data available from a survey of the River Lennon carried out under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1925, and from a more recent inspection indicates that, owing to its torrential character, the possibility of designing an economic arterial drainage scheme for this river is remote.
