The value of imports from Britain in the 12 months ended 30th April, 1957, was £94,536,481, but there is no comprehensive statistic which shows the volume of imports from Britain. Quantity figures are, however, published for most of the principal imports from Britain in Table VI of each months's issue of the Trade Statistics of Ireland and copies of this publication are available in the Oireachtas Library.
