Separate statistics in regard to factories situated in dwelling-houses are not available, but I am advised that the number of such factories in the County Borough of Dublin comprises only a small percentage of the total number of factories in the area. The aim is to have each factory on the official register visited by an inspector at least once a year, but in practice and because of the need for repeated visits in some cases, the average is less than once a year.
