Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Exports of Cattle and Meat.

asked the Taoiseach if he will give particulars of the total value of (a) cattle and (b) meat (fresh, chilled and frozen) exported during the three months ended 31st March, 1957 and 1958, respectively.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the information required in respect of the first two months of 1957 and 1958. Figures of exports of cattle and meat in March, 1958, are not yet available.

Following is the statement:—

TOTAL value of Domestic exports of (a) cattle and (b) meat (fresh, chilled and frozen) in the two months January—February, 1957 and 1958.
