As I indicated to the Deputy in reply to a question on 25th November last, the making of advances under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts for the purchase of previously occupied houses is a matter for consideration by the housing authority concerned. All housing authorities were informed in August last year that issues from the Local Loans Fund will be available to them for this purpose.
