Vol. 178 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Manorhamilton Garda Station.

34.

asked the Minister for Justice when it is expected that a new Garda station will be provided in Manorhamilton; and if the erection of a new station is not immediately feasible, if he will consider the purchase of suitable premises in the town if such can be obtained at a reasonable price.

Proposals for the acquisition of premises at Manorhamilton in lieu of the existing Garda Station, which is not considered suitable for prolonged occupation, are at present under consideration. I will keep the Deputy informed of developments in this matter.
