Vol. 187 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Reconstruction of Dublin School.

39.

asked the Minister for Education when the reconstruction of St. Vincent's Convent School, North William Street, Dublin, is likely to be undertaken.

My Department has sanctioned a grant towards the cost of the reconstruction of St. Vincent's Convent National School, North William Street, Dublin. Working drawings have recently been submitted by the Manager's architects and are under consideration in the Office of Public Works. A number of details connected with the working drawings and the specification remain to be settled before tenders can be invited.

It is not, therefore, possible to say at present when building operations are likely to commence but every effort is being made to expedite matters.
