Efforts were made by the Land Commission some years ago to acquire these lands on the basis of providing the owner with an exchange holding but negotiations were unsuccessful.
There are no current proposals for acquisition of these or any other lands in this locality but in the event of any suitable lands becoming available for acquisition, the matter will be fully investigated.
