Vol. 192 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Project Machinery : Export Facilities.

53.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if in view of the fact that many contractors who invested in expensive machinery for Land Project work are now unable to undertake such work without serious financial loss he will provide facilities to permit the export of such machinery.

There is no control on the export of machinery to Britain or the Six Counties. Licences are granted freely for the export to other destinations of machinery of the type used on Land Project work.
