asked the Minister for Local Government the housing programme envisaged for North Tipperary for the coming twelve months, the nature of each scheme, and the estimated date of completion of each.

Housing authorities have a full discretion in the preparation of their housing programmes and are not required to furnish information thereon to the Department until details of particular schemes are ready for submission. The information available to me may not, therefore, cover all the proposals that may be made by November, 1963. There are, however, at present 31 dwellings in course of erection in North Tipperary and proposals for a further 68 are at planning and subsequent stages. Details of the schemes are shown in a tabular statement which, with your permission a Cheann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.
