asked the Minister for Local Government what is the attitude of the Government with regard to Resolution No. 234, giving the opinion of the Assembly on Opinion No. 15 (1962) of the European Conference of Local Authorities on Council of Europe action in favour of local autonomy, which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 24th December, 1962; and what action the Government have taken, or contemplate taking, on it.

This resolution is still under consideration by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and it would be premature to give an opinion on the resolution.

It is very hard to hear the Minister.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is the attitude of the Government with regard to Recommendation No. 328, giving the opinion of the Assembly on Resolution 34 (1962) of the European Conference of Local Authorities on Europe Day, which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 20th September, 1962; and what action the Government have taken, or contemplate taking, on it.

This resolution is still under consideration by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and it would be premature to give any opinion about it.

asked the Minister for Local Government what is the attitude of the Government with regard to Recommendation No. 327, giving the opinion of the Assembly on Resolution 30 (1962) of the European Conference of Local Authorities on the United Towns Association, which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 20th September, 1962; and what action the Government have taken, or contemplate taking, on it.

The Government are not called upon to take any action in this matter.
