asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state the capitation fee payable to medical officers for medical treatment in respect of Post Office employees, and the nature of the services provided by the medical officers.

The capitation fee payable to Post Office medical officers is 30s. a year where the staff concerned are employed at or near a head post office and 34s. a year in all other cases. The nature of the services provided is that which general practitioners give their patients in the course of ordinary practice.
