Vol. 200 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rail Facilities for Fishguard-Rosslare Tourists.

11.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he is aware of the fact that bookings via Fishguard-Rosslare route for tourists generally and those with motor cars are in excess of what they were last season; and if he will ensure that adequate facilities are made available by CIE to meet this welcome influx of visitors on the Rosslare-Dublin and other railway routes.

I am aware that there is a welcome increase in tourist bookings via the Fishguard-Rosslare route for the coming tourist season and I am assured that the rail facilities being provided by CIE will be fully capable of catering for any such increase in traffic that may arise.
