Vol. 200 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers - Nenagh Hospital Extension.

7.

asked the Minister for Health when sanction may be obtained regarding the building of an extension to Nenagh hospital, County Tipperary, where there is a need for at least twenty more beds because of the overcrowding.

I am considering possibilities in regard to the bed position in the area which may relieve pressure in the accommodation in Nenagh Hospital. Pending completion of the examination of these alternative possibilities I would not feel justified in approving of an extension of the accommodation in Nenagh.
