The provision of a satisfactory sound radio service is a matter for the Broadcasting Authority. The Deputy will appreciate that the Authority has had to direct its activities since its establishment towards the setting up of a television service. I understand, however, that proposals for improving radio reception in areas such as south-west Cork are at present being examined by the Authority.
