asked the Minister for Justice if he will state in respect of each Garda station in Dublin (1) the number of Gardaí which represents full strength, (2) the number of Gardaí there at present, and (3) when the vacancies, if any, will be filled.

The number of Garda personnel serving in the Dublin Metropolitan Division is kept constantly under review and is varied from time to time with a view to ensuring the maintenance at each city station of a strength adequate for requirements. At the end of last month, the total strength of the Division, inclusive of officers, was 1,768. There are no vacancies.
The particulars requested in relation to each station are contained in a tabular statement which, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.
