Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - School for Mentally Handicapped Children.

62.

asked the Minister for Health if there are any proposals before his Department for the establishment of a five-day residential school for mildly mentally handicapped children at Cappoquin Convent of Mercy, County Waterford.

Mr. O'Malley

The Sisters of Mercy have proposed to me the establishment of a five-day residential school at Cappoquin for children of mild and high-moderate mental handicap. I hope to give my decision on the matter in the very near future.
