asked the Minister for Local Government if, in view of the threat of unemployment in a firm (name supplied), he will consider permitting baths manufactured by this firm to be used in local authority housing schemes.

My Department is in correspondence with the Department of Industry and Commerce on the general question of the use of imported materials and articles of partly Irish manufacture, including the baths in question, in State-aided houses.
