Garda pensioners who retired between the dates mentioned in the Deputy's question have had the pensions which were awarded to them on retirement increased by 9 per cent under the 1965 pensions increases. As these pensions had already been increased by 5 per cent under the 1964 pensions increases, the net increase which became payable from the 1st August, 1965, was 4 per cent.
