383 applications were received in the period 21st April, 1965, to 8th August, 1965, when the acceptance of new applications was suspended. 132 of these have been inspected and reported on to date. 21 applications have been refused as unsuitable for grant, but it is not possible to state their total cost as estimates were not made in all cases. The remainder of the applications are on a waiting list for consideration at a later date, when earlier applications have been disposed of.
