Vol. 220 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kilcash (Tipperary) School.

76.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the fact that a very large number of pupils cannot be accommodated in the present school at Kilcash, County Tipperary; and if he will consider having an extra classroom provided.

I am aware that as there are only two classrooms in the new school building the third teacher and classes have had to be accommodated in the old school building. I am now satisfied from a forecast on the probable future enrolments that a staff of three teachers will be warranted for a considerable time. Accordingly, the matter of having an additional classroom provided is being put in hands immediately.
