Vol. 223 No. 5

Order of Business.

Business as set out on the Order Paper will be taken as follows: Nos. 10, 1 and 11. Questions will be taken at 2.30 p.m.

I should like to give notice that, with the permission of the Chair, I intend to raise on the Adjournment the inequity of the proposal to pay such a large amount in pension and lump sum to one public official, while, at the same time, such small pensions are being paid to scores of men who have spent their lifetime in the service of the railways.

To which Minister does the Deputy address it?

I brought to the notice of your Office yesterday that I intended to raise this matter. It seems to me to be the direct responsibility of the Minister for Transport and Power.

I shall communicate with the Deputy in the course of the forenoon.

What about No. 2 on the Order Paper—Rent Restrictions (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 1966? Has the Taoiseach any information about it?

No, I have not.

Will it be taken next week?

It will be taken as soon as possible
