Vol. 226 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Taxation Relief for Disabled Motor Drivers.

18.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will introduce legislation to give motor car taxation relief to disabled drivers on motor vehicles other than three wheeled vehicles.

It is not proposed to introduce such legislation. I would point out that there is already in existence a concession rate of 5/- a year for vehicles not exceeding six cwt. in weight unladen, adapted and used for invalids. Such concession is not limited to three wheeled vehicles.
