Vol. 226 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Lusk (Dublin) Flooding.

17.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will take steps to have the flooding of Kilhedge Lane, Lusk, County Dublin relieved as a matter of urgency.

As indicated in a reply to a similar question on 23rd November last, it is a matter for the local authority to decide what action is open to them to take in regard to flooding at Lusk, County Dublin. No proposals have yet been received in my Department. I understand, however, that provision has been made in Dublin County Council's rate estimate for the coming financial year for the undertaking of a programme of public drainage works to relieve flooding at a number of locations throughout the county, including Lusk village.
