Vol. 232 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ennis Public Baths.

42.

(Clare) asked the Minister for Local Government what advance has been made in the position regarding the projected public baths at Ennis since October, 1967; and if he can say whether construction work is likely to start on them in the course of this year.

Since October, 1967, negotiations have taken place with three of the contractors who had previously submitted tenders for the construction of the Ennis pool. A revised tender price from one of these is at present under examination.

I am not in a position to say at this stage when work is likely to start on the pool.
