Vol. 232 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Roscommon Estate.

30.

asked the Minister for Lands why the Land Commission have not acquired an estate in County Roscommon (details supplied).

The determination of lands to be acquired is an excepted matter reserved exclusively to the Commissioners. I understand that the Land Commission have, in fact, interested themselves in the holding referred to, which was advertised for sale last month, and inquiries are at present being carried out with the consent of the owner.
