The regulations to be framed under the Local Authorities (Higher Education Grants) Bill now under consideration in Dáil Éireann will provide for the continuance of the tenure of grants for approved postgraduate courses. The higher diploma in Education will be one of these.
The question of making grants to other higher diploma students could not be considered.
