asked the Minister for Lands if there have been any recent developments in relation to the acquisition of the Mahony estate at Oatfield, Kilrickle, County Galway.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission will be in a position to allocate the Naughton estate, at Ballinderry, Kilconnell, County Galway.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 72 and 73 together.

Possession of the Mahony and Naughton estates, comprising 300 acres and 200 acres, respectively, passed to the Land Commission last year. Pending completion of the necessary inquiries on the ground it is not possible to indicate just now when schemes of division can be planned.

asked the Minister for Lands the present position regarding the proposed acquisition of the Flanagan estate, Kilconnell, Ballinasloe, County Galway.

Proceedings were instituted recently for compulsory acquisition of this 164-acre estate. The statutory notices have been published and were served on the owner earlier this month.

asked the Minister for Lands the position regarding the Molloy estate, Caherhue, Belclare, County Galway.

The Land Commission recently decided to proceed for acquisition of this 22-acre estate. The owner's representatives have been notified accordingly and the relevant statutory notices will be published at an early date.
