Vol. 244 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - European Security Conference.

46.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether his attention has been drawn to the British Prime Minister's favourable reference after his Washington talks to a proposed European security conference; whether he supports this proposal; and whether he has taken any initiative with a view to such a conference.

The Government are taking careful note of all significant developments in this matter. However, at this stage, I have nothing further to add to my previous statements on the subject in the Dáil, the most recent being on the 6th November, 1969.
