Vol. 244 No. 9

Written Answers. - Military Service Pensions.

125.

asked the Minister for Defence why for some time past there has been no referee for the purpose of the Military Service Pensions Acts; and whether it is proposed to make an appointment.

The time limits prescribed under the Military Service Pensions Acts for the acceptance of new applications and petitions for the reinvestigation of claims previously rejected have long since expired. As all applications and petitions received were dealt with and the administration of the Acts wound up many years ago, the question of the appointment of a referee does not arise.
