asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that pedestrian crossing lights at many points in Dublin City are faulty inas-much as the time allowed for crossing is almost negligible; and if in view of the hazards involved, especially for elderly people, he will have the matter examined and recified.

The phasing of pedestrian operated light signals in Dublin city is a matter for Dublin Corporation.
