asked the Minister for Local Government when the plans were submitted to his Department for approval in respect of houses at Cappawhite and Grangemockler, County Tipperary; and if he will state the present position.

Plans for the Grangemockler housing scheme were submitted to my Department on 22nd December, 1969, and approved on the 6th February last. Plans for 18 houses at Cappawhite were submitted on the 4th December last. Following discussions between technical advisers of the housing authority and of my Department, it was agreed that revisions would be made in these plans. The submission of the amended plans is awaited.

asked the Minister for Local Government when tenders were submitted to his Department for sanction; and the present position in respect of the provision of houses at Newcastle, Golden, Ballyhusty and Ballynonty, County Tipperary.

Proposals for the acceptance of tenders for these houses were submitted last year on the 23rd July, 15th July, 30th July and 6th November respectively. All the proposals have been approved by me.
