Written Answers. - Council of Europe Resolution.

123.

asked the Minister for External Affairs what is the attitude of the Government with regard to Resolution No. 431 on the problem of urban traffic which was adopted by the Consulative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 26th January, 1970; and whether they intend to take budgetary or legislative steps to make advanced technical solutions in the field of urban traffic move forward from the experimental stage to the stage of application.

Resolution No. 431 on the problem of urban traffic conditions is being examined in the light of its relevance to Irish conditions and of the financial resources available.
