In regard to the first part of the question I would refer the Deputy to my reply to similar questions on Wednesday, 22nd October, 1969. As regards the introduction of revised rates of pay I have sanctioned revised salary scales for local authority engineers and county accountants. Details of the revised salary scales are given in the form of a tabular statement which with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.
