Vol. 246 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cashel (Tipperary) Street Widening.

7.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received any proposals to widen Canopy Street, Cashel, County Tipperary; and, if not, if he is aware of the tremendous traffic hazard and long delays caused by such a narrow street on the main Dublin-Cork road.

No proposals in the matter have been submitted to me. The development plan made by Cashel UDC states that Canopy Street is a traffic bottleneck and widening is required as an immediate solution.
