Vol. 246 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Roscommon Factory Closure.

17.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce (1) the total loss to the State caused by the closing of a factory (name supplied) in Roscommon and (2) how much of these losses it will be possible to recoup.

The total amount which has been paid by way of grant to the company named by the Deputy is £139,700. The company is now in voluntary liquidation and, until its affairs are wound up, it is not possible to answer the second part of the question.
