Vol. 246 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephone Kiosks.

91.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will consider the erection of a telephone kiosk at Rossmore, County Tipperary.

Provision of a kiosk at Rossmore would not be warranted at present but it is likely that one will be provided towards the end of the current five year programme for extension of kiosk facilities in rural areas.

92.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will provide public telephone kiosks at (a) Kilcrohane, Bantry and (b) Ahakista, Bantry, County Cork.

Provision of a kiosk at Kilcrohane would not be warranted at present but one will be provided under the current five-year programme for extension of kiosk facilities in rural areas.

Provision of kiosks in areas such as Ahakista where there is no post office is not envisaged under the extended kiosk programme for rural areas.
