Vol. 246 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephone Kiosks.

103.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if his Department will consider the erection of a telephone kiosk in Lurganboy, as it is two miles from Manorhamilton, County Leitrim, and one mile from the local post office at Shanvas.

Provision of kiosks in areas such as Lurganboy where there is no post office is not envisaged under the extended kiosk programme for rural areas.

104.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the location of proposed telephone kiosks for Tipperary South Riding in 1970-71.

There are two centres in Tipperary South Riding in the 1970-71 kiosk programme. A kiosk has already been provided in one of the centres, viz., Grange, and the second centre is Tipperary town.
