Vol. 248 No. 9

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Pension Claims Representations.

8.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if members of old age pension committees have the right of making representations to the Department in cases of applicants for old age, blind and widows' pension claims.

There is, of course, nothing to prevent old age pension committee members, or indeed, any other person, from making representations or submitting information to the Department in support of applicants for any form of social welfare benefit or assistance.
