I am informed by the ESB that preliminary discussions have taken place between the board's officials and the designer of this project from which it appears that there should not be undue difficulty in providing a 3-phase supply at the required location. The board are now awaiting firm advice of the equipment to be installed and also a formal application for supply from the co-operative controlling the project which would enable terms for supply to be quoted. There may, however, be some delay if the formal application is not received within the next couple of months by which time the construction crew at present in the area will have completed their work.
