Vol. 254 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Offaly Forestry Roads.

24.

asked the Minister for Lands why the Forestry Section of his Department are closing forestry roads in the Kinnitty area, County Offaly, to the public; if this policy is being adopted throughout the country; and, if so, the reason for the change.

The State forest lands at Kinnitty continue to be open to the public on foot in common with most forest areas throughout the country, and there has been no alteration in existing policy at Kinnitty or elsewhere.
