asked the Minister for Social Welfare the estimated mandays lost for the latest available year through illness arising from certified disability claims by insured persons.

The number of days lost through illness in the 1970 benefit year, based on claims for disability benefit by insured persons, is estimated at 18,700,000. A firm figure in relation to that year will not be available until February next.
