The text of the Treaty of Accession and the related Acts will be published here within the next few weeks.
Does the Taoiseach see any anomaly in signing on behalf of the Irish people something which the Irish people have not had an opportunity of reading?
The people will have an opportunity of making up their minds about it in the most democratic way possible, by way of referendum.
What about Government expenditure in favour of the referendum? That does not count at all, of course.
