The position of the various marketing boards including An Bord Gráin in the context of EEC membership is still under consideration.
When does the Minister expect to be able to tell An Bord Gráin what their role will be in EEC, and if the position of these boards is not yet determined why are An Bord Bainne engaging in an elaborate structure of a new type of milk marketing board if they do not know the basis on which they will be operating?
That is a separate question. This question deals with An Bord Gráin.
Would the Minister not agree that if An Bord Bainne know what their role is going to be An Bord Gráin should also know?
It does not quite follow. The question refers specifically to An Bord Gráin and the general question behind it is the determination of the desirability of having an overall intervention body to handle agricultural products generally or not. The determination of the answer to this question is what I referred to in my reply.
When does the Minister expect that An Bord Gráin will know their role?
