Vol. 260 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Irish Electorate Letter.

4.

asked the Taoiseach if he instructed Markpress to undertake the printing and distribution of a letter to the Irish electorate on his behalf; by whom the cost was borne; and the total sum involved.

No such instruction has been issued.

Is it not a fact that Markpress had this letter printed?

No. It is not a fact and the Deputy should not be trying to fly these kites by just mentioning them in the House. It is not a fact. There is no truth whatever in the Deputy's allegations or suggestions.

The Deputy's colleague, Deputy Tully, has a question about that for answer later.
