It is assumed that the Deputy has in mind inquiries relating to the establishment of new industries. Generally such inquiries are not related to specific areas and are not recorded statistically by reference to regions. The information required is not therefore readily available in the Industrial Development Authority but it can be stated that the number of projects approved for the midland region since its establishment is 12.
