asked the Minister for Local Government (a) the date on which sanction was given to Mayo County Council to raise a loan for the construction of a drawbridge at Belmullet, (b) the progress made in preparing the necessary plans for the work and (c) when the work is likely to commence.
With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 86 and 87 together. I have not received a loan application for this project and have not any information as to progress in preparing plans, et cetera, or when work will be carried out. Responsibility in these matters rests with Mayo County Council.
