(Cavan): It is assumed that the Deputy has in mind the establishment of sanctuaries or “non-shooting” areas for wildfowl and other game birds, a number of which have been created In recent years.
The Game Birds Protection Order, 1973, will be made at an early date and will provide for the establishment of further wildfowl sanctuaries. Pending the publication of the order it is not proposed to state the number and location of such sanctuaries.
I think the new ones will be good.
