asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if any incidence of UDN in salmon stocks has been reported during the present season; and if he will state the position in respect of last season.

Reports received in my Department from Boards of Fishery Conservators indicate a decrease in the incidence of UDN in salmon stocks for the period of six months ended 30th June, 1973, compared with the same period last year.

Does that apply to the Blackwater?

It has general application.

It has general application? Does it apply to the Duke of Devonshire as well as to everybody else?

The Deputy must not refer to personalities in this House.
